February 6th Updates

Few updates this morning:

  • Heli Refuel and Plane Crash events are back. Attacking NPCs should no longer cause RPC error disconnects.
  • Backpacks has been updated to fix RPC errors with auto gather turned on. Gather has been re-enabled but you may have to turn it back on for each of your slots again.
  • A fix for Raidable Bases has been loaded to once again keep non-teamed players out of raid events.

Thank you to those who reported issues. Remember, if you are having an issue, please let us know on our Discord via #admin-help.

February 2026 – Navel Update Is Here!

Welcome to November 2025, err…December 2025….no wait….February 2026 and the long awaited/delayed Navel Update! Yes, today we finally get boat building and the deep sea! We also get (hopefully) new artist items (canvases, easels and such). So get ready to set sail and let your inner artist shine!

Here are some basics to keep in mind on the navel update side (this list was compiled on Staging Branch a few days ago, so they may be slightly different when live version drops):

  • The deep sea area is dynamic. When it spawns, it will last for only 3 hours then it will close down for 1 hour before it reopens (these times are subject to change).
  • The layout changes each time and building in it is not allowed.
  • You can not fly into the deep sea, you must have a boat. (/rhib would get you one!)
  • Boat building requires 4 main items. The boat building station (must be deployed out in the water), the boat building plan, a power source (sail or small boat engine), and a steering wheel.
    • Deploy the building station and it will open up an area for you to build.
    • Use the boat building plan to laydown your boat’s keel. Add walls, rooms, etc.
    • Add a steering wheel, sail or engine, and any other items you want (like an anchor maybe).
    • Finish the build at either the wheel or the building station. The building station should be refunded into your inventory.
    • Bon voyage! Your off and sailing!

Other changes this month:

  • Vanilla Bradleys will no longer spawn at monuments. All Bradleys will be Easy to Nightmare levels now.
  • Tugboats will no longer spawn at harbors. However, you can still use /tugboat to get one from Vehicle Licenses.
  • We had to switch to a different cooking/smelting plugin as the old one is no longer maintained. Currently, the new one does not support the BBQ in the camper module or the BBQ side of the cooking workbench. We have asked the author to update support for those and hopefully we will see that added soon.

There were also SEVERAL other plugin updates. As always, please report any issues in #admin-help on our Discord.

ALSO: At the time of posting, Convoy and Armored Train updates are not yet available, so those events are currently offline. We will update those as soon as they are released.

Crate Lock Times Increased

Bradley, Heli, and Hackable crate lock times have all been increased to 15 minutes across the board. This also applies to the tiered Bradleys that spawn on Armored Train.

Update for clarification: This refers to the time a crate is locked to a player after destroying Bradley/Heli or hacking a hackable crate. After the 15 minutes, anyone else can loot the container.

Industrial Conveyor Update

The limiter on industrial conveyors has been updated to correct a problem where if conveyors from two systems were attached via power passthrough, components were counted as one system rather than multiple. This should allow players to build multiple systems, each with their own limits, but still power them from a single source if needed.

January 2026 Wipe

Pretty straight forward wipe this month. No real changes except that jolly old fart that’s been flying around in the sky is gone. No new items from Facepunch this month due to the Christmas holiday. The Navel update is still expected to release at February force wipe (February 5th).

Shop And Events Updates

Shop has been updated to fix two issues. 1) The shop would load without categories listed the first time a player ran the shop command. Categories should now be displayed every time. 2) Searching for an item containing a number could activate the corresponding hotbar item and consume resources. This should be fixed as well.

The random events “SHOULD” finally be fixed to where the same event won’t start again after it just ended. So no more back-to-back Convoys.
