Shotgun traps and flame turrets have been set to 20 max per player (inline with auto-turrets). If you have already deployed more than that on this wipe, you will be able to keep them. However, you won’t be able to place any more until you reduce the total under 20.

October Wipe
October is here, and fall is in the air…..oh wait…that’s the smell from the new Radtown…sorry. Anyway, here are some notes for October wipe:
- New monuments: Oasis, Lake, Canyon and Radtown. Radtown has also been populated with NPCs, so watch out!
- Convoy has been updated to a new layout. We are still working on the loot tables (all required updating for the new version) but the event is now live. We will continue to refine the loot table throughout the month. Convoy will now also travel the side roads, not just the main ring road.
- Our PVP arena events are currently disabled and likely will remain so. The author of the event plugin has not shown any interest in updating that plugin and the changes at force wipe have broken it.
There were roughly 20 plugins that required an update. While we always try to test them out on our test server first, that doesn’t mean we didn’t miss something. So please, if you see something wrong, let us know via #admin-help on our Discord so we can look at it for you.
Enjoy! 🙂
September Force Wipe – Going Monthly
Wipe day is here! This month, based on our Discord poll, we are switching back to a monthly wipe schedule. With this change, however, comes a few restrictions:
- Max number of large furnaces per player is now 3
- Max number of other furnaces (small, electric, legacy, oil refineries) is 4
- Auto-purge is now set to 3 days rather than 5. Players must join at least once every 3 days or their entities will be wiped.
- Events are more spaced out – 45 minutes between launching (Convoy, Armored Train, Gas Station).
- Raidable bases will no longer auto spawn. Players can still purchase via /buyraid
There were also MANY plugin updates this month. Too many to list here. So if you see any issues, PLEASE make a ticket on our Discord in #Admin-Help so we can look into it for you.
8-22-2024 Updates
- Shop has been updated to the latest version and has a new look. Please let us know if you run into any issues with the new version.
- Animal AI has been disabled for the rest of the month.
- The welcome screen has also been updated, but players shouldn’t notice any differences.
Increasing Heli Crate Lock Time
Starting at the 5am reboot on August 21st, Heli crates will be locked to players for 15 minutes rather than 5. This means players that take down a Heli will now have 15 minutes to retrieve the loot from the crates. After that, any player can access the crates.
Handcuffs Removed Due To Known Bug
FacePunch has been trying to track down a bug where sometimes a handcuffed player still can’t access their inventory after being released, dying, and even restarting.
Since handcuffs don’t “really” play a part on PvE anyway, we are removing them from the server at least for now (though likely for good). Players will no longer be able to craft or use them.
Convoy Changes – Event Ends When Time Is Up
Convoy will now end when the timer runs out even if a player is inside the dome. Items already dropped (the hackable crate if the transport was destroyed, loot from Bradley if they were destroyed, etc.) will remain on the ground. But any NPCs and un-destroyed vehicles will now despawn when the timer ends.
We are making this change so that when players take convoy outside their base, the event can end rather than being held open indefinitely after the player has returned to their base that’s still inside the dome. This will allow Convoy to respawn on schedule.
Mid-July 2024 Wipe
The Mid-July wipe is now live. The combined Outpost/Bandit Camp has returned to the center of the map. The stable vendor at Outpost also now works as expected (he sales correct horse equipment such as saddles).
As always, please report any issues you come across via ticket in #admin-help on our Discord.
Bikes Now Available With /buy!
The new bikes are now available via Vehicle License (/buy). The direct commands are:
- /bike or /pbike – Single person pedal bike.
- /trike or /ptrike – Two person pedal bike.
- /mbike or /motorbike – Single person motor bike.
- /mbikescar or /motorbikesidecar – Two person motor bike.
FacePunch Punches Us In The Face!
FacePunch released a mandatory Server/Client update this morning after only a few hours notice, while most were sleeping, and with only a short term update to staging (beta) branch first. This forced update has caused several plugins to break. While we are monitoring for updates, most plugins “appear” to be working again as of now. There are some behind the scenes issues, but seem to be mostly cosmetic at this time.
However, we do encourage all players to report any issues on our Discord so we can follow up to make sure they are fixed.
