A while back, we had to disable the protections that kept players from dropping an entire stack of mods onto a weapon or an entire stack of clothing on themselves. We re-enabled this protection a few months ago.
However, we are disabling this protection again after events from today.
So keep in mind that if you now drop an entire stack of a mod onto your weapon, it will indeed put the entire stack on your weapon. If you then lose your weapon, you will also lose all the mods in that stack. So when pulling a mod over (or an item of clothing) either use the splitting bar to select only 1 or you can right-click and drag the mod over directly from the stack. Right-click dragging will also only pull one item from the stack.
We apologize that this has to be done, but battling lag (even that caused by other players) is one of our top priorities.
FacePunch introduced a change to Patrol Heli that caused it to always crash at a monument when shot down. This has been changed back so that the heli will crash just like before (over the area it was actually shot down at).
The 40/60 recyclers that FacePunch introduced have been modified to 60% all around. For reference, prior to May wipe all recyclers had a 50% efficiency. So all recyclers should see an output boost from last month now. Don’t forget, you can craft your own personal recycler by using /recycler.craft. All of our commands are available on our Commands page.
Water foundations must first be crafted with the building planner.
After placing the first foundation, you place additional foundations with the building planner using the ‘floor’ building block.
Maximum foundations per base is 80.
You must build in water that is at least 2 meters deep.
You can not build too close to oilrig.
You can not build in the cargo ship path (see /draw_cargo command below).
You can reinforce your foundations by hitting them with a hammer (must have additional water foundations in inventory). This will also let you build down under the water.
Remover tool will not refund a water foundation but rather just the wood or other base resource from the foundation.
Teleport and /homes will not work to/from water bases.
Waves can temporarily block placement of deployables on the first level. Either wait till the water lowers back or place items on a second floor.
Remember the no griefing rules. Don’t block entire waterways and don’t encase monuments. If you do, your base(s) will get removed.
Players can now create water bases in game. These bases are deployed on the top of the water and follow the same stability as normal bases. Each base is allowed 80 foundations (square or triangle) and each building block can be upgraded to the metal tier.
To craft a water foundation, take out your building planner then click on the appropriate GUI button that appears (open your inventory with the planner in your hands to use your cursor). Square foundations cost 100 wood and 200 metal. Triangle foundations cost 50 wood and 100 metal. Craft all the foundations that you need before proceeding.
With your foundations crafted, head out into the water to place your first foundation. You should see the water foundations in your inventory. Pull them down to your hotbar if not already there and select them to deploy just like any other deployable. NOTE: The foundation will appear as an innertube while placing and will change to a foundation once placed.
Once you have your first foundation placed, switch to the building planner and select the floor building block. You can then extend your base out with the planner and the other foundations will be automatically removed from your inventory when placed.
Once your foundations are placed, you can build your base just as you would any other base. If you want to build below the water, reinforce your foundations by hitting them with your hammer. You must have additional foundations in your inventory before doing this. Once reinforced, you can then build downward.
Please note that the plugin should prevent you from building in the path of the cargo ship as cargo WILL destroy any sections of your base it runs into. It’s highly recommended that you run /draw_cargo to view the path of cargo before deploying a base. This command will show you a series of spheres that represent cargo’s path. Occasionally, there may be gaps in the path as shown below. Do not build in these gaps as cargo still moves between them and WILL destroy your base if you do.
Gap in cargo ship path as shown by /draw_cargo. Do not build in the gap!
IMPORTANT: NPCs WILL DAMAGE YOUR BASE WITH THIS PLUGIN.
Call NPCs to run a raid on your base with different levels of raiders. Each level increases the raider’s weapons, health and armour. Recommended that expert and nightmare levels not be done by single players. The NPCs’ goal is to reach and destroy your TC.
Commands are: /raidme – Info on the levels including the number of NPCs per wave and number of waves. /raidme buy – View purchase cost (in Server Rewards points) of each level. /raidme buy <level> – Purchase the selected level.
You are required to be authed to a TC for 1 hour before starting a raid.
Remember: The NPCs WILL damage your base and destroy your TC if they reach it. We will not help you repair a base damaged by the NPCs. So be sure to have enough resources to repair your base before starting.
Building Skins lets players skin certain tiers with compatible skins via the /bskin command. The following skins are available for the listed tiers:
Wood: Frontier and Gingerbread
Stone: Adobe, Brick and Brutalist
Metal: Container
After typing /bskin in chat, the GUI loads. Click the graphic or the double arrows of the building tier you want to skin. The graphic will cycle through the available options. Click apply to select the shown skin for that tier. Close the GUI by clicking the X. The selected skin will now be auto applied to any blocks that are upgraded to that tier.
To apply a selected skin to a base that’s already built and upgraded to the tier you want, look at the base and type /bskin build. Your skin must be already selected in the GUI. This will update ALL compatible tiers of your base to the selected skin for that tier. So if you have a combo of metal and stone, the selected skins for those tiers will be applied with this command at the same time.
If you are placing new building blocks with a /bgrade level set, the blocks should auto skin as you build. However, if upgrading or downgrading a base with /up or /down, the skin may not auto apply and you will have to use the /bskin build command to skin your building.
For more information on /bgrade, /up and /down commands, see Info/Commands.
Raidable Bases provides NPC bases that players can raid. The server will maintain one random base and players can purchase their own base using their Server Rewards points. Random bases will be locked to the first player/team that attacks while purchased bases are automatically locked to the player (and their team) that purchased it.
Players can access the purchase menu by typing /buyraid in chat. Once in the menu, select the level of the base that you want to purchase by clicking on it. You must have enough Server Rewards points for the level you want to purchase.
Players can move the Raidable Bases GUI around by clicking on the arrow → in the heading then use the four directional arrows that appear. Click the up arrow ↑ to save.
Once players clear 80% of the loot containers on Hard, Expert or Nightmare, they can run /rb hint to view locations of the remaining loot. Loot locations will be displayed for 15 seconds and the command has a 60 second cooldown period.
NOTE: You can not foundation wipe Raidable Bases!
