A couple of new items this month. The new oil filter silencer and soda can silencer are craftable items. The old silencer (military silencer) is available in the shop and is no longer craftable. The new blue industrial lights are also available in the shop.
A big change has to do with wallpaper. New Ceiling and floor wallpapers are available. With this change, FP decided to create the new wallpaper tool. As such, wallpaper is no longer skinable via skinbox. HOWEVER! We have purchased a new pluigin that will allow you to use all the wallpapers! Users who have purchased wallpaper packs from the Rust store can just use right mouse button to access those.
To use the plugin and access all the wallpapers:
- Craft the wallpaper tool
- Select the wallpaper tool from your hotbar as you would the wire tool
- Look at the type of object you want to wallpaper (wall, ceiling, floor…they are different!)
- Press your attack3 button (by default, this is mouse2 aka your center scroll wheel on your mouse)
- Select the wallpaper you wish to use from the menu
- Deploy wallpaper as normal
As noted above: Walls, ceilings, and floors have different wallpapers for each. So to select a ceiling wallpaper, you must be looking at a ceiling. To select a floor wallpaper, you must be looking at a floor.
If you have mapped mouse2 (scroll wheel) to another command, you can map it back with bind mouse2 +attack3 in F1 console. You can also map another key by replacing mouse2 with the key you want to use. Example: bind z +attack3 or bind space +attack3.
NOTE: As of June 14 2025, you can also now use /wallpaperplanner to access the selection menu.
